Leading Green Energy Solutions

FTJ was incorporated on 31 December 2008.

FTJ Bio Power Sdn. Bhd. (“FTJ”) is a joint venture project between FGV Palm Industries Sdn Bhd (“FGVPISB”) and TNB Energy Services Sdn Bhd (“TNBES”) (i.e. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (“TNB”) with FGVPISB majority equity (60%) and TNBES (40%). Our location located 8.5 km from Bandar Tun Razak Jengka, Pahang. Our main business is to generate and supply electricity by using green energy sources which Empty Fruit Bunches (“EFB”).

Company Motto

The main purposed for establishment of FTJ is to focus on EFB disposal from nearby palm oil mills which before this the EFB is being mulched in the palm oil estates. The problem on the method is incurred high cost related to transportation and not environmentally friendly as EFB degraded process will have Greenhouse Effect and the leachate from EFB will pollute the water stream.

Plus, FTJ was formed to support the Malaysian Government’s renewable energy agenda to reduce the country’s carbon footprint and to take advantage of the incentives and potential of ‘waste to wealth’ that could be derived from the volume of biomass produced from FGV’s milling activities.
