FTJ was incorporated on 31 December 2008.
FTJ Bio Power Sdn. Bhd. (“FTJ”) is a joint venture project between FGV Palm Industries Sdn Bhd (“FGVPISB”) and TNB Energy Services Sdn Bhd (“TNBES”) (i.e. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (“TNB”) with FGVPISB majority equity (60%) and TNBES (40%). Our location located 8.5 km from Bandar Tun Razak Jengka, Pahang. Our main business is to generate and supply electricity by using green energy sources which Empty Fruit Bunches (“EFB”) and harnessing premium waste oil.

Our electricity is produced by thermal power plants that burn fiber in the boiler to heat water and produce steam. The steam then drives a turbine connected to an electric generator, converting the mechanical energy into electricity. Our electricity then supply to the TNB substation at Bandar Jengka, Pahang. Our boiler capacity is 12.5 mega watt.
Decanter cake is a solid byproduct of the palm oil extraction process, rich in organic matter and nutrients. It is used as an organic fertilizer to enhance soil fertility, an ingredient in animal feed, and a biomass energy source for electricity generation and biofuel production, promoting sustainable resource use.
Boiler ash is a byproduct of the combustion process in FTJ Bio Power’s boilers. It is a residual material that can be repurposed for various industrial applications, such as soil stabilization, road construction, and as a raw material in cement manufacturing.
The sludge oil is produced during the processess converting the EFB into fibre. It is a thick, brownish liquid residue that contains a high concentration of organic matter, suspended solids, oil, and grease.
